Car Seat Program

Vida Support Services provides free education and resources to empower expectant parents and parents in their parenting journey. Through the Infant Car Seat Program and Toddler Car Seat Program, expectant parents and parents go through a variety of parenting educational and mentoring sessions and earn credit toward a new car seat upon completion of the program.

Infant Car Seat Program
Vida Support Service Infant Car Seat Program is available to individuals who qualify for Support Services’ traditional parenting program as well as Vida Medical Clinic referrals.

Program participant requirements include:

• Five in-person appointments with a staff member
• Viewing of all five BrightCourse videos
  
  • Car Seat Safety
  • What is Safe in Pregnancy?
  • Prenatal Care
    Postpartum Depression
  • Infant Expectations
• One appointment with Vida Medical Clinic nurse about lactation
• One appointment with Vida Medical Clinic use about delivery

Toddler Car Seat Program
Vida Support Service Toddler Car Seat Program is available to individuals who qualify for Support Services’ traditional parenting program as well as Vida Medical Clinic referrals.

Program participant requirements include:

• Four in-person appointments with a staff member
• Viewing of BrightCourse videos (at the appointments) on a variety of topics

  • Toddler Accidents
  • Toddler Illness
  • Toddler Nutrition
  • Bonding with your toddler
  • Other
